BIOGRAPHY

Mark Andrew Swan was born as Mark Andrew Swan in Colorado Springs, Colorado on June 8th, 1987.

He was considered a “gifted and talented” child and so he was utterly unprepared for adulthood.

In 2008, Mark absconded to Denver, Colorado to join local punk band, The A-OKs. From 2008 to 2015. The A-OKs recorded 3 studio albums and 1 live album. They went on countless national tours and were even privileged to be a major act on the Ska Revival Tour.

In 2018, Mark wrote and published The Book of Many Little Things: Volume 1, a collection of narrative poems exploring many fantastic and esoteric topics.

In 2019, Mark attended the Colorado Media School where he pursued an education in his lifelong passion of sound and video editing. Mark graduated with honors.

Mark has since worked with Best Served Creative and Over Easy Booking, creating and editing social media content. He had the pleasure of producing and directing Not Just A Haircut, a four part wellness mini series. From 2021 to 2022, Mark had the privilege of working with PBS12 as a camera operator, engineer, and floor director for several longstanding local Colorado TV shows.

As a follow up to his first book, Mark completed Death and Human Resources, a fantasy comedy novel. The book is available for purchase in paperback and on Kindle at Amazon.com.

Mark now plays in Pretty. Loud. with his friends, Michelle Bailey and Tim Sanchez. He has recently accepted the role as traffic and weather reporter for IHeartRadio, reporting for radio stations such as KOA Denver, KRDO Colorado Springs, Mix 100, KILO, and more. He is also a dedicated A/V production technician for Mile Hi Church. Mark is available for video and sound editing, filming, and consulting.
